Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved two things: music and helping people. Throughout my years in the music industry, I’ve noticed that the alternative scene not only lacked women, but lacked resources. From the fan-girl-to-industry pipeline: women run this industry. So let’s bring to light the “New Wave” of women in music!
Here you’ll learn about photographers, managers, agents, artists, talent buyers, tour managers, merch sellers, entrepreneurs, and so much more. This will be a space for women in learn, connect, and grow. Call it: New Wave Alternative.

New Wave Alternative is a music collective that highlights women and nonbinary industry professionals in the alternative scene. We aim to provide a safe space for the next generation to learn and ask questions without judgement. We love the opportunity to work with different brands and artists, but before we move forward with any partnership, we have a set of non-negotiable values that we ask all future collaborators to review:
We value words and art created by humans in everything from our marketing to the music we consume.
Music played at our events will be primarily, and sometimes exclusively, women and nonbinary artists.
We will not promote anyone with alleged misconduct.
We will always seek to support and uplift those with a genuine passion for music and the business.
